But an engine needs to be properly cared and if any technical error occurs, it needs to be removed out and then should be carried for repair work. Getting the engine removed from the airplane is a very difficult and complex task and requires a lot of alertness. The prior thing that needs to be done is the unbolting of wires, motor, exhaust and bolts. The next step involves is attaching the engine with the lifting machine and this process requires extra care as any error could lead to dismantle the engine and its various parts. After this, the engine stand needs to be prepared. Most of the engine stands carries four adjustable arms which has prolonged bolt holes. Mostly the two arms are attached on the upper surface of the engine and the other two o the lower surface. Now recheck all the settings of the engine with the engine stand and once you are confident enough that the engine stand will carry the engine and its weight easily, one can simply disconnect the lifting machine. Now the engine stand is ready to carry the engine present over it and hence, the engine will be moved to the desired location for its repair process and again it will be placed back on the engine stand and will be taken to the aircraft.
